  • REINHART GUEST HOUSE

In January, the Reinhart Guest House surpassed a remarkable milestone serving more than 10,000 guests since opening their doors 7.5 years ago. It is humbling and inspiring to know from firsthand experience that more than 1,200 families per year seek respite at the Guest House to be with a loved one while they seek quality medical care. The Guest House team is present not only to operate the 14,000 square foot home, but to also help relieve the stress and burden guests experience when having to travel for medical care. When a family is checking in at 1:00 am after a stressful journey, they are welcomed with open arms. The heart and soul of the Guest House mission is to shower guests with hospitality and to comfort them through in-kind donations like healthy meals and handwritten notes provided by community partners. The daily needs of guests are satisfied through the continuous support of volunteers and donations like household supplies, hospital-to-go bags, wish list items and financial gifts; these contributions are vital part of their sustainability plan. The Guest House mission represents faith, hope and an opportunity to deliver families to wholeness in a home away from home. If you would like to support the Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House, please visit their website to explore opportunities like scheduling a donated meal, sending Amazon wish list items, supporting their annual fundraiser Rockin’ on the Avenue or becoming a regular volunteer. So if you or a firefighter/first responder you know is in need, simply text “SUPPORT” to 1-833-698-7864 and we promise to walk with you through whatever it is you’re facing.
